Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez assured the chamber’s support for measures that will ensure the continuation of the sale of rice at Bente Pesos per kilo to poor families.
Romualdez said that this program of the Marcos Administration is a step towards achieving food security and economic justice for every Filipino family.
According to Romualdez, the chamber will support the extension of the program implemented by the Department Of Agriculture where rice is purchased from local farmers at a reasonable price and sold at a subsidized price to poor families.
