President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to attend the World Expo 2025 held in Osaka, Japan, in which he is anticipated to promote the Philippine’s cultural heritage.
Departing on Thursday, June 19, 2025, PBBM’s flight arrived in Japan at around 6 in the evening in Japan time, where he is expected to also visit Philippine Pavilion.
“Ang pagpunta po ng Pangulo doon ay para po pasinayaan, puntahan, at ipagmalaki ang Pavillion ng Pilipinas sa nasabing World Expo sa Osaka 2025,” Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary Claire Castro stated in a press briefing.
Usec. Castro added that our rich culture and landscapes will be proudly presented in the Expo, which also has the purpose to attract tourism in the Philippines.
