Improved response of PNP to calls about bullying

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that over 78% of bullying-related emergency calls made through the 911 hotline were responded to within five minutes, showcasing improved emergency response efficiency.

PNP received 5,187 calls related to bullying and responded to 4,050 of them promptly. The average response time was 3.25 minutes. PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil credited the enhanced e-911 system for the faster response times. The system now allows better call location tracking and more centralized dispatch coordination.

Most of the calls came from Metro Manila (47.8%), followed by CALABARZON and Central Luzon. Vehicle accidents topped the list of emergency calls during the same period.
