Rafael Jose Consing Jr., President and CEO of Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC), has submitted his unqualified courtesy resignation in compliance with President Bongbong Marcos’ directive to streamline leadership across all government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs).
At the same time, the entire MIC Board of Directors also tendered their courtesy resignations in response to a notice issued by the Governance Commission for Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations (GCG).
This move is part of the broader reform efforts of the Marcos administration to review and improve GOCCs nationwide. | via Dann Miranda | Photo via PNA
