Vice President Sara Duterte has confirmed her readiness to face the Impeachment Trial as soon as the 20ᵀᴴ Congress begins.
According to VP Duterte, she accepts the outcome of the impeachment trial.
However, the Vice President insisted that it is not yet time to count the votes until the trial begins because there is no evidence from the prosecutors and their defense yet.
She was not surprised that Representatives-Elect Chel Diokno and Leila De Lima were part of the prosecution team.
It can be recalled that the impeachment complaint against VP Duterte was filed in the chamber due to the confidential funds issue, allegedly related to the extrajudicial killings in Davao City and his threats to the lives of President Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez. | via George Mission De Leon | Photo via PNA
