3 Filipinos injured in missile strike

Three Filipinos were injured when a missile hit their residence in Rehovot, Israel, early Saturday. The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv has dispatched a rapid response team to assist the victims.

A 43-year-old woman who underwent emergency surgery and a 44-year-old man with multiple injuries are being treated at Kaplan Medical Center. Meanwhile, a Filipina caregiver remains in critical condition at Shamir Medical Center due to severe heart and lung injuries.

Philippine Ambassador to Israel Aileen Mendiola assured that the Embassy is working closely with hospitals, local authorities, and government agencies to ensure the victims receive full medical care, compensation, and proper shelter upon recovery. The Embassy team includes Consul Patricia Narajos, Vice Consul Teri Bautista, and Attaché Josah Agan.
