Three people, including a pregnant woman, were killed and five others injured in a road crash in Tagaytay City after a van carrying drunk passengers slammed into an oncoming vehicle Tuesday night, June 18.
According to PLt Col. Jefferson Ison, chief of Tagaytay City Police, the van was seen swerving on the road before colliding head-on with a Toyota Corolla. It was later on confirmed that drivers in the Innova had been drinking and appeared to be showing off before the crash. The victims inside the Corolla were en route to a hospital to bring a pregnant woman, identified as Jenalyn, for a check-up.
